Seeing the dire need for education in Agwata village enlightened MCSI to commence sponsorship for the children you will learn about below. Every child deserves an opportunity to be educated. Some receive it abundantly and do not take advantage of that opportunity. That is not the case for everyone. The children of Agwata were born into circumstances that hindered that opportunity. Starting from the LRA army terrorizing Northern Uganda, causing a displacement of infrastructure, schools, medical facilities, and people, resulting in financial instability, loss of health care, and broken families. These children have no control over the circumstances they were born in but do have the power to change what their future will become. With education, anything is possible. It can turn a misfortune into a blessing. For the children, it creates a foundation for a prosperous future.
